DU athletics truly demonstrate the diverse and international nature of our student body. Fifty nine international student athletes from 19 countries on six continents participate in the 16 varsity programs at DU.

DU Dreamer Joins CO Bar

“I'm the first undocumented student to be admitted to law school in Colorado," says DU Alum Edgar Barraza. He's the first "dreamer" to graduate from law school and gain admission to the Colorado Bar Association.

Sturm College professors César Cuauhtémoc García Hernández and Robin Walker Sterling each received Fulbright Awards for their research and contributions to enhancing understanding between the U.S. and other nations.

Students Assist Refugees

Every winter, a group of DU students makes the trip to Dharamsala, a city in India’s Himalayan region that's home to the Dalai Lama and Tibetan government in exile. While there, students support former political prisoners seeking refuge after fleeing Tibet and meet with individual Tibetans to help them learn English.

Marcus Commons Reimagined

Ten students in the Daniels College of Business' Real Estate and Built Environment program divided into teams and presented ideas for transforming Marcus Commons into a flexible, functional and collaborative space.

Crowdfunding Success
