The range of experiential communities found on our campus allow our students to make a seamless transition to college life, reach new academic heights and develop their skills as leaders. They provide support for students from a wide variety of backgrounds, help ensure our schools and programs are inclusive, culturally aware and diverse, and, most of all, strengthen the relationships that define our campus community.

Home is where you find your people. Our Living and Learning Communities, among the only residential student programs of their kind, highlight our focus on collaboration and hands-on experience. Undergraduate students can choose from any of five communities based on interest, from environmental issues and social justice to entrepreneurship, wellness, and intercultural exchange. You'll collaborate with like-minded faculty and peers to stimulate change while specializing your degree studies according to your passions.

CWC Leadership Scholars
Providing academic and financial support to 12 women from first-generation and/or underrepresented populations, the CWC Leadership Scholars Program blends coursework and community-based learning. With workshops, job-shadowing, mentoring and a four-year sequence that supports community impact, this program prepares leaders for a more gender-inclusive 21st century.
Excelling Leaders Institute
Helping create an open and inclusive campus, the Excelling Leaders Institute helps over 150 students to cultivate their strengths while developing their leadership skills. The Institute supports students from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds as they become active change agents through academics, professional growth and social engagement.
