Notice about covid-19

  • Students that have a current, valid permit to park in DU managed lots will be allowed to have their vehicles remain in the lot until such time as they can return to campus and retrieve their vehicle. They need take no further action.
    • Parking Services will not ticket, tow, or penalize students in this category.
    • Students should contact Parking Services at parking@du.edu if they have questions about permits and parking at DU managed lots.
  • Students who chose to not park in DU managed lots and parked on City of Denver streets are parked in the City Right of Way. DU Parking Services does not have jurisdiction in those areas.

Because of the need to limit the spread of the coronavirus, it is important to reduce the number of human interactions. Parking Services wants you to be aware that we can fully serve our customers without them coming to the Parking office.

The Parking office is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30AM - 4:30PM starting June 16th. The days and hours that the office is open are subject to change weekly, during the phased reopening of the campus. The office will be open 'virtually only' from 8:30AM to 4:30PM other than the days mentioned above. Contact us by email, mail or phone.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING:

  1. Permits can be purchased/paid for online or over the phone using a credit card. If you do not have a credit card then you can still pay your citations via the mail, with a check. There is also a payment drop box ( located next to the west pay station on the first floor of the Evans Structure) where cash or check payments may be left.
  2. Parking enforcement continues with an emphasis on fire lanes and ADA (handicapped) spaces
  3. Citations and permits can be purchased/paid for online or over the phone using a credit card. If you do not have a credit card then you can still pay your citations via the mail, with a check. There is also a payment drop box ( located next to the west pay station on the first floor of the Evans Structure) where cash or check payments may be left.
  4. Appeals MUST be done via email or the website. There is not a need to bring an appeal into the office. If you write an appeal on paper, it can be mailed in.
  5. Event payments can be paid for over the phone or through the mail.
  6. Event requests can be submitted on cancelled via email or phone.
  7. Parking Permit returns can be done via the mail or drop box. Our staff can email you the form or it can be found on our website. Refunds will be accepted through April 30th.
  8. Lost/Stolen Permit forms can also be emailed or found on the website. These payments can be made over the phone.
  9. All questions and concerns can be handled via email or phone

The Department of Parking and Mobility Services serves the University of Denver by providing parking for students, faculty, staff and visitors to campus. The department reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Facilities Management and Planning under the Vice Chancellor for Business and Financial Affairs.  Parking and Mobility Services strives to provide equitable quality service to the University community by providing timely, efficient and fair customer service.  This goal is achieved by:

  • Proactive planning for campus parking needs
  • Maintaining safe and clean parking facilities
  • Enforcing University parking policies
  • Managing the permitting process in an efficient and service-oriented manner
  • Managing special event parking
  • Promoting and providing access to mobility alternatives including, bicycles, bike sharing, campus shuttle, and car sharing resources
