EMPLOYEE RTD ECOPASS

ecopass

EcoPass smart cards are available to all full-time faculty and benefited staff free of charge through the Pioneer ID Card Office. The EcoPass provides free service for all RTD transportation modes including the rail lines to and from Denver International Airport. Exceptions are specialty services including the BroncoRide, RockiesRide, SkyRide, and other outlying service areas of metro Denver. Please contact RTD with the phone on the back of the card for any functionality issues as they should be able to correct any issues immediately. If RTD is unable to resolve the issue, contact the DU ID Card Office at 303-871-4545.

Student RTD CollegePass

CollegePass smart cards are available to all eligible students listed below, through the Pioneer ID Card Office. The CollegePass provides free service for all RTD transportation modes including the rail lines to and from Denver International Airport. Exceptions are specialty services including the BroncoRide, RockiesRide, SkyRide, and other outlying service areas of metro Denver.college pass

Issues with your pass? Please contact RTD with the phone on the back of the card and they should be able to correct the problem. If RTD is unable to resolve the issue, contact the DU ID Card Office at 303-871-4545.

Eligible participants include:

  • Undergraduate students who are enrolled full-time
  • Graduate students currently enrolled in a participating program
  • Continuous enrollment students in Natural Sciences & Mathematics, Engineering & Computer Science, and DU/Iliff Joint PhD

Non-eligible Graduate students include:

  • Daniels College of Business Executive MBA
  • Executive Real Estate
  • GSSW Distance students in Durango
  • SECS Lockheed Martin students
  • University College and Women's College
  • Intermodal Transportation Institute

RTD Monthly Ticketbooks

If you are not eligible for the Employee or Student Pass and would like to use the light rail and/or bus system, RTD sells Monthly Passes and 10-Ride Ticketbooks. You can purchase Ticketbooks online, from King Soopers or Safeway, or from the Transportation Center (cash only).

 

 

RTD Transit Lines

In addition to an on Campus light rail train station the University of Denver has 2 main thoroughfares serviced by Bus. These lines include the East-West bound Route 21: Evans Avenue and the North-South bound Route 24: University Boulevard.

SkyRide


SkyRide buses depart from each SkyRide stop on an hourly basis throughout the day and into the late evening. Look up your schedule and get going.

BroncosRide


Buses depart for Sports Authority Field from many Park-n-Rides and stops around the metro area up to 2½ hours before kickoff on weekend game days and up to 2 hours before kickoff on weekday game days. Getting home after the game is easy. Just find your bus in its designated row and board for your return trip. Visit RTD BroncosRide for more information.

RockiesRide


RockiesRide buses leave up to two hours prior to game time and arrive within 30–60 minutes of the first pitch. Getting home after the game is easy. Just find your bus in its designated row and board for your return trip. Excluding rain delays, buses begin to depart Coors Field after the conclusion of the game from 22nd and Blake, with the last bus leaving 45 minutes after the game ends. All RockiesRide buses are clearly identified with the route number and the letters "CR" on the destination signs on the front of each bus.

Winter Park Express Ski Train - The Winter Park Express ski train ties together the area's rich skiing and railroad history as it carries passengers through some of Colorado's most beautiful landscapes.
