Faculty and Staff Fitness Classes

well@du fitness classes are open to DU faculty/staff at no cost.

 

 

CRIMSON CLASSIC PREP CLASS 

Well@DU together with the Coors Fitness Center brings you a weekly preparation class to get you ready for the Crimson Classic. 

Tuesdays from August 8th - September 19th 

7:15am - 8:00am in Coors Fitness Center, Room TBD

Registration is not necessary and you do not need to be a member of CFC to participate. More information coming soon!

Vinyasa Yoga

A Vinyasa style series geared towards intermediate participants. Yoga "challenges", asana selection, and class focus will vary. 

Tuesdays through September

11:30am - 12:15pm 

Location: Lawn outside of Mary Reed

Instructor: Stephanie

Registration is not necessary.  Please bring a mat and water bottle.  Limited mats will be provided. You can award points on the wellmetrics portal for your attendance in this class.

Yoga will be on a hiatus in October

 

Iyengar Yoga 

An Iyengar style series geared towards beginner participants. Yoga "challenges", asana selection, and class focus will vary.

Wednesdays through September

11:30am - 12:15pm 

Location: Lawn outside of Mary Reed

Instructor: Jessica Sherwood

Registration is not necessary.  Please bring a mat and water bottle.  Limited mats will be provided. You can award points on the wellmetrics portal for your attendance in this class.

TAI CHI SPONSORED BY KIHA

The Knoebel Institute for Healthy Aging offers Tai Chi

Fridays from 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Location: ECS Rotunda event space on the 5th floor

Instructor: Mike Sanin

All experience levels are welcome and class is free to all DU employees and students. You can award points in the wellmetrics portal for attendance in this class. Utilize the Complete a Fitness Event Tile.
