Crimson Classic 5k
The University of Denver's 11th Annual Crimson Classic 5K Run/1.5 Mile Walk will take place on Friday, October 27, 2023 on Carnegie Green Lawn at 3pm. Music, stretching, and snacks will start at 2:15pm. The focus of the Crimson Classic is to celebrate wellness and to bring together our community. This is a free event! Please scroll down for the day's schedule. All participants who register will receive a 11th Annual Crimson Classic t-shirt. Let's kick off Homecoming weekend together. #DUCrimsonClassic

Regional Employees
Regional employees and eligible spouses are encouraged to participate in the Crimson Classic 5K Run and Walk by engaging in any physical activity of their choice on that day, and in doing so - you may receive this year’s commemorative Crimson Classic T-shirt, please email well@du.edu with your size (Small – XXXL in unisex sizes) and your mailing address.
Registration and Result Posting Instructions
Register for the race by clicking "Sign Up". It is free for all participants. During registration, you will be asked to sign a waiver. If you are joining the race day-of there will be paper waivers for you to sign at the registration table or a QR code for you to fill out registration via your phone. Race Results will be posted on Carnegie Green Lawn following the race.
Event Exclusions
Please be aware of your surroundings while racing. Strollers are allowed, but please ensure to start in the back after all other runners and walkers. Pets are not allowed on course. Service animals are allowed. Participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please join us for a FREE 5-Session Fall Series alongside a DU Employee Cohort as we expand upon the 7-facets of holistic wellbeing with Well@DU. Journey with us and connect as we navigate through a myriad of self-care topics and holistic wellbeing approaches. Topics range from nutritional wellbeing to social wellbeing, emotional wellbeing to self-agency and more. With smoothies, yoga, and open-hearted conversation, we are excited to have you this summer!
