Adjunct Faculty
The University of Denver will occasionally, under certain circumstances, hire adjunct faculty members. This is usually done to enrich the curriculum in an adjunct's particular area of expertise, or to fill unexpected staffing shortfalls. Because each division, college, and school within the University has its own unique culture, specific requirements for adjunct faculty members will vary. If you have been newly hired as an adjunct faculty member, the department chair or program director of the division, college, or school where you will be teaching is the person you should ask if you have any questions about University policies, curriculum, course content, etc.
